serving the darkness,
is serving the earth.
to involve your hands in
what you may not see the reward of:
of spirit, of soil.
but you must do it anyway.
the closer we can get to the ground,
the more we can live in peace and ease.
as we tend to the darkness,
everything we thought we lost,
we feel returning to us.
