Seasonal Ritual: Summer 2025

Of Earth Healing Arts provides a seasonally inspired herbal bodywork treatment to invite the senses into relationship with a variety of seasonally relevant plant preparations to remind that we can heal, reset, and renew our energy from within with the practical support and magical beauty of herbal allies. Observing our surroundings and the transitions of the seasons invites us to remember the interconnectedness of our bodies to our environments. Seasonal periods are an opportunity to reflect and realign. Making space to slow down and be present to ourselves allows us to embody where we are and embrace the next chapter.

Sessions can include current modes of care ie. cupping therapy, energywork, myofascial, trigger point, etc.

Grounding & expansive aromatic bodywork journey featuring an array of northeast bioregion herbal allies to assist in navigating the abundant energy of the summer season.

Incorporations:

Herbal body oil: St john's wort, lemon balm, helichrysum, lavender by Lakon Herbals
Hydrosol: neroli, basil by Terracotta Farmacia
Facial herbal balm: Olive oil, calendula, evening primrose seed, mallow root and flower, beeswax, and essential oils of lavender, carrot, chamomile, rock samphire and helichrysum italicum by Lakon Herbals
Herbal liniment: Burdock root, yarrow, St. John's wort, red clover, dandelion, goldenseal, balm of gilead, rosemary, olive oil, beeswax by Lakon Herbals
Herbal clay mask: yarrow, nettle, comfrey, rose, licorice, lavender, calendula, green clay formulated with raw honey and custom hydrosol
Herbal foot scrub: Of Earth whole herb oil blend formulated with magnesium tallow butter, sea salt, sugar, lemon, rosemary, mint essential oil
Herbal tea: cold infusion of marshmallow root, nettle, rose petal, peppermint, spearmint, hibiscus

Evergreen: Centering Session

Herbal infused massage with a variety of evergreen topicals for reducing stress, improving mood, supporting respiratory and immune systems. Invigorating aromatics relieve stagnation and inflammation. Emphasis placed on tending to the nervous system.

Therapeutic Herbal: Remedial Massage

Targeted therapy for injury recovery, to improve posture and mobility, and reduce mind/body tension. Therapeutic herbal topical preparations are woven into your massage to support circulation and relieve pain. Intentionally selected musculoskeletal herbs providing warming/cooling relief, reduction in inflammation.

Incorporations:

cupping, myofascial release, trigger point, deep tissue, infrared heat
Liniments, salves, herbal body oil & magnesium butter
herbals such as arnica, ginger, cayenne, rosemary, camphor/menthol, eucalyptus, mint, lavender
tea to go of ginger, lemon verbena, rosehip

Botanical Beauty: Crown & Facial Focus

Relaxation focused, Swedish style massage to enhance circulation & lymphatic flow (with focused trigger point work as needed). Extra attention given to the upper body, releasing head, neck, chest, shoulders, and face. Application of herbal powders, clay, hydrosol as facial mask post facial cupping as well as warmed hair oil and herbal scalp rinse to nourish and restore.

Incorporations:

freshly made herbal facial clay mask (green clay, raw honey, hydrosol, powdered licorice, rose, lavender, nettle, calendula, comfrey, yarrow) with lavender compress
herbal hair oil (organic cold pressed oils of grapeseed, jojoba, castor, & almond infused with comfrey leaf, nettle, burdock root, rosemary, gotu kola, calendula, lavender, yarrow; essential oils of juniper berry, cedarwood, clary sage) with hair rinse of rosemary, nettle, thyme
